Lucky More

Lucky More created Rainbow Kids, a privately run creche in northern Johannesburg, in Malatjie Settlement, Lanseria, Johannesburg. Rainbow Kids was started in the home of Lucky More in August 2014. There are now more than 60 children cared for daily by Lucky & her team. Lucky relies on minimal school fees and public donations to service this extremely poor community. No government funding is available to the crèche.

Over the years, they have installed solar powered electricity & running water in some areas of the crèche. They have also built 3 classrooms, a library, kitchen, office & sick bay with the help of corporate funding. They also enjoy an annual Christmas outing sponsored by a very generous corporate.
